About WISE

WISE — Women in Sports and Events — is the foremost career and leadership development organization for women in the business of sports. A national organization and registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit headquartered in New York City, WISE has more than 20 chapters across North America.

Our Mission

To be a catalyst for WISE members at all levels in the business of sports to advance to their career goals.

Through peer support, mentoring programs and professional development and training, we strive to help members maximize their potential, sharpen their skills and advance their careers at every stage of their professional journeys.

About WISE Detroit

Originally launched in 2017, WISE Detroit is currently in the midst of reorganizing and identifying new volunteer leadership.

We appreciate your patience as we work to transition this chapter from inactive to fully operational. If you are interested in volunteering to serve in a leadership capacity and/or on a committee, please complete this form.
